This is to do with wiring dual battery systems to a leisure battery.
Under seat ford transit dual battery system.
Vehicle inverter is powered by the vehicle 12 volt system to provide 120 v ac power while driving.
System has worked very well in the sprinter so i will duplicate it in the transit.

Although this video may provide you with the basic procedures we recomm.
I am looking to convert it to a campervan.
I have a ford transit mark 7 2011 t300 115 bhp swb medium top.
The transit batteries that are under the drivers seat are the vehicle battery and one that is described in the ford handbook as a memory battery 65ah in our case 2 4td fwd this is not the habitation battery which should be located elswhere again in our case under one of the bench seat bases.
I hope somebody doesn t mind helping me out.
Also be aware that ford fitted a more sophisticated dual 60ah battery system to the rear wheel drive transit that isolated one battery whilst not running such that starting power was maintained if running auxiliary items wit the engine off.
One battery was essentially a dedicated starter battery and the other a dedicated accessory battery.
It has the factory fitted two batteries set up under the driver s seat.
Always wear your safety belt and secure children in a rear seat if equipped and follow airbag warning label instructions.
